In a recent interview with Gillian Jacobs from the hit TV series Community and LOVE, Jacobs reveals some amazing tips for actors inside out and outside of the audition room.
Jacobs was recently featured in the new Judd Apatow TV comedy series Love, starring opposite Paul Rust. Love follows Mickey (Jacobs) and Gus (Rust) as they navigate the exhilaration and humiliations of intimacy, commitment, and other things they are hoping to avoid.The series has been picked up for two seasons and will be released on Netflix.
In the interview, she discusses working on HBO’s Girls playing Mimi Rose Howard, the multimedia artist who doesn’t agree with Hannah’s (Lena Dunham) interpretations about art and challenges her ideas, working as a director in the documentary The Queen of Code, and getting nominated for a Broadcast Television Journalists Association award in the category of “Best Comedy Supporting Actress”.
