Casting director Jeff Greenberg recently revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, that Hollywood actor Brad Pitt auditioned for the popular comedy show of the 1980’s Cheers. However, he was unable to land the role. Back then, Pitt was just starting his acting career. He had auditioned for a guest role in the show. However, Greenberg did not think he was funny enough, and his only note form him was “Not Funny”.
Greenberg is the man behind casting actors in popular TV shows such as Modern Family, Cheers, Wings and Ugly Betty.
That said, Pitt is not the only famous actor who auditioned for a role and did not get the part. Here’s a list of other popular actors who also did not land a role.
