‘Not Without Hope’ starring Miles Teller heading to Cannes

This movie will be executive produced by Russell Wilson and Ciara who have won multiple awards for their work together including Grammy Awards.
The film is based on the best-selling novel of the same name by Nick Schuyler and Jere Longman, from a screenplay written by E. Nicholas Mariani. It has been directed by Rupert Wainwright (Stigmata) with distribution through Highland Film Group’s international sales team at Cannes’ upcoming virtual market – where CAA Media Finance will handle US rights exclusively for now.
This true story, ‘Not Without Hope’ will see Teller — who broke out in Whiplash and stars next to Will Bleakley for Top Gun: Maverick — play Schuyler. Along with three other friends Marquis Cooper (NFL player), Corey Smith (college athlete), and their fishing crew member Amy Parisi; they set off on a day trip from Clearwater, Florida 70 miles out at sea when suddenly severe storms hit the crew.
