Zac Efron is the latest celebrity to change their hairstyle.
Following in John Travolta’s footsteps, Efron has experimented with platinum blonde hair.
The lighter hair color maybe for an upcoming film role or he’s simply embracing the new year, whatever the reason for the hair change, it has definitely gone viral with his hair becoming a trending topic on Google.
Zac Efron’s platinum dye job was first spotted on Instagram where he posted a photo of himself rock climbing. He’s wearing a black beanie with strands of bleach blonde hair sticking out from underneath it. It also appears that he’s grown a beard too.
Changing his hairstyle may actually help his acting career. The Amy Adams told the Washington Post that she was typecast as the “bitchy” girl when she had her natural blonde locks. Amy Adams said dyeing her hair red, Adams said she was considered for bigger movie roles.
This is not the first time Efron has changed his hairstyle. He added blonde highlights to his brown hair for his role in Baywatch in 2016.
This news comes after John Travolta unveiled his new bald hairstyle. Travolta captioned the picture of him and his daughter in the new year saying, “I hope everyone had a great New Year!”
While it is unclear whether Travolta is preparing for a role, it is clear his fans love his new look.
