Why Ronda Rousey’s Acting Career May Be in Trouble After Fight Loss

Ronda Rousey’s acting career may be in trouble after losing against to Holly Holm.

Ronda Rousey was on the fast track to success and all of Hollywood was betting on her.

Following several major headlining fights, Ronda Rousey was going to be one of the biggest A-list actresses in Hollywood.

Producers cast her in Furious 7 and there were several rumors suggesting she would play Captain Marvel, and star in the Patrick Swayze remake of ‘Road House’. But, all of this maybe coming to an end for the former UFC undefeated champion.

Holly Holm may have beaten more than just Ronda Rousey’s face on Saturday night. After the iconic kick connected with Rousey’s face, the UFC fighter hit the deck in the first knock out of her career.

After the high kick, Rousey was forced to visit a Melbourne hospital to rule out any injuries and to treat her for a concussion, split lip, and undergo plastic surgery to correct her facial injuries.

In fact, MMA physician, Dr. Weinstein compared the severity of the blow of that of “a car accident or a hammer to the head” and explained that Rousey “needs to recover” and that “if she rushes back, she could have permanent brain damage.”

Despite Rousey’s injuries, some celebrities have bashed Rousey for not touching gloves with her opponent before the match.

But, other celebrities shared their support for the aspiring actress.

Ronda Rousey was so injured she was unfit to fulfill post-fight media interviews but, she left the following message on Instagram for her fans.
