Netflix has officially announced ‘Top Boy’ will return for a second season.
Currently, there are not many details about the new season of ‘Top Boy’, although Netflix has revealed production will start in the Spring of 2020. Dushane and Sully (played by Ashley Walters and Kane Robinson) will return alongside Jamie (Micheal Ward) and Shelley (Little Simz).
Drake confirmed a new season on Instagram. Top Boy was one of Netflix’s highest performing shows of 2019 and Project Casting shared speaking roles for the hit TV series in late 2018.
Drake served as executive producer on the show, which ran from 2011 to 2013 on Channel 4 before Netflix brought it back last year.
Keep an eye out for more updates on the next Top Boy season over the coming weeks, with confirmation from Netflix expected in the near future.
