Fans bash Saturday Night Live’s tribute to Prince.
Last Saturday, SNL did a Prince tribute show that is now getting mixed reviews. Fans took to Twitter to bash a compilation of old sketches built around “The Prince Show,” featuring a former cast member Fred Armisen impersonating the musician.
The tribute show started off with an emotional tribute thanks to Jimmy Fallon. It then showcased a series of SNL performances by the late pop singer, who died on Thursday at the age of 57. But, later in the episode SNL started airing sketches that poked fun at the musician that’s when people took to twitter to bash the NBC show.
Damn. #SNL can’t even end a tribute show right. Nobody wanted to see those imitation sketches at the end. Come on ? #snlprince
