The Wolf of Wall Street is coming to a TV near you.
The former Wall Street trader turned motivational speaker is bringing his stories to the TV screen. Jordan Belfort, whose memoir was used to create the Martin Scorsese’s critically acclaimed movie, “The Wolf of Wall Street is teaming up with the director of Rush Hour to create a TV series about Belfort’s New York escapades in the 1980s.

According to the reports, the former broker will co-write the show recently opened up about the new TV series.
“The idea was to come up with a show about that period with really interesting characters, and so my manager pitched the idea to Brett Ratner, who fell in love with it.”
The producer of the show, James Packer revealed what he found interested in Jordan Belfort’s life and writing. “I respect Jordan for his perseverance. Like many others, he is a man that made a lot of mistakes but he isn’t hiding. Jordan worked hard to build his new career and this adventure is an important part of his journey.”
