Andrew Lincoln is Excited to Leave Atlanta to Film Potential ‘The Walking Dead Movie’

Date:

Andrew Lincoln is excited about leaving Atlanta to film a ‘The Walking Dead’ movie.

The idea of a ‘The Walking Dead’ movie has never really been discussed before, but with the series expanding into a new spin-off series, ‘Fear the Walking Dead, and now the series creator Robert Kirkman signing a two-year development deal with Universal Pictures, the probability of ‘Walking Dead’ movie is not that farfetched.

In fact, it’s something that has been talked among ‘The Walking Dead’ cast, and according to Andrew Lincoln in an interview with The Inquirer revealed that he would be excited to make a ‘The Walking Dead’ movie.

That would be amazing. It’s something we’ve been talking about and dreamt of because it would be cool to see some snow. We were all going, just not to have to film in Atlanta where it gets to 100 degrees!

What is surprising is that Andrew Lincoln and the cast are interested in getting out of Atlanta.

What would be amazing is that you can play with form, time and chronology and maybe also rediscover characters who are no longer in the show. Certainly, with that format, you can do something very interesting and ambitious.

It’s hard to think what the series can do on a feature film that they can’t do on television. But, if they ever decide to ever kill off Daryl Dixon, it should be done on the big screen.
