The CW’s Plans to Infiltrate the Irish Mob with New Series from ’24’ Editor

The CW network is working with 24 alum Matt Michnovetz for The Cover, an FBI drama about the Irish Mob.

The Hollywood reporter, recently reported that the new script to series commitment will allow for the network to decide if they show will skip the traditional pilot stage and go straight to becoming a series.

The Cover centers around a handsome young FBI agent who goes undercover in Boston with order to infiltrate the Irish Mob. Along the way he develops a relationship with a local girl who also has a secret of her own. Soon, he learns that there is no one to trust as the investigation goes sideways.

Michnovetz, worked as a staff writer and story editor on Fox’ 24. It is expected that he will write the series script. John Morayniss and Michael Rosenberg will executive produce the project along with Steven Marrs.
