The creator of ‘Fresh Off the Boat’ refuses to watch the show.
Eddie Huang, whose memoir the ABC comedy ‘Fresh Off the Boat’ is based, has always had a problem with the show. Several months before the show even aired Huang commented that his book was authentic while the show was watered down. Huang pointed out that he disagreed constantly with ABC executives about the show. However, Huang would later do the voice-over narration and go on a promotional tour for the show.
But, it is important to point out that Huang is still not happy. He took to Twitter to reveal that he does not even watch the show he created.
Eddie Huang also had comments for the Deadline article that said that there are too many minorities on television nowadays.
