A Stalled Voyage
Rumors of Helgeland captaining a Game of Thrones spin-off had been brewing since 2017. The talented Amanda Segel joined the project in May 2021, and prospects seemed promising. However, HBO never gave the series an official green light, effectively grounding the concept in limbo.
