According to Reid, she had just checked into her hotel on Nov. 23 when she went downstairs to the hotel bar for a glass of wine. She briefly stepped outside to smoke and returned to find a napkin placed over her drink—something she says she did not do herself.
“I thought, ‘That was weird,’ because I didn’t put that over my drink,” Reid told TMZ in an interview published Nov. 24. She said she took a sip, and before she even finished the drink, she passed out.
The next thing she remembers is waking up eight hours later in a local hospital.
Doctors Told Reid She Had Been Drugged
Reid says medical staff informed her she had been drugged, though she did not ask what specific substance was found in her system. Despite the shock, she was later picked up by her agent and still proceeded with her scheduled appearance at the Chicago Sports Spectacular.
