Someone Tried to Burn Down the Kardashian’s ‘Dash’ Store in LA

Date:

Someone tried to burn down the Kardashian Dash clothing store in Los Angeles, California.

Love them or hate them, the Kardashians are a multi-million dollar empire that extends beyond reality television. They have an enormous social following that buys every lipstick, dress, and make-up product they launch. But, one person is not that impressed by the Kardashians and tried to burn down one of their stores in West Hollywood.

According to the Los Angles Times, on Monday night someone threw a flaming object through the front door of the store on Melrose Avenue. The door was made of glass, so that broke when the object hit it. But, beyond that nothing else was damaged or ruined. Had this Molotov cocktail ignited, the damage would have been millions of dollars.

From the Los Angeles Times:

At about 11:20 p.m., a passerby called 911 and reported seeing a man throw a “lit object” through the front door window of the Dash store in the 8400 block of Melrose Avenue, said sheriff’s Lt. Edward Ramirez.

The attack broke the door’s glass but didn’t cause any significant damage inside. When deputies arrived to investigate, the found the “heavy object” smoldering inside the store but nothing else had been burned, Ramirez said.

Police are still investigating this incident as an attempted arson. But, the question remains: Who did this? Why would someone want to burn down the Dash store?
