Here’s where Disney is going to film the live-action Mulan movie
According to reports, Disney to begin shooting Mulan this August 2018 in New Zealand and China. Earlier this week news broke that Donnie Yen would be joining the cast of the upcoming live-action Mulan movie directed by Niki Caro. Omega Underground reports that filming will take place sometime this August with production locations in various countries including New Zealand and China. Disney has given Mulan the updated release date of March 27, 2020.
The original “Mulan” centered around a young woman who disguises herself as a man to take her father’s place in the army with her dragon friend Mushu. ‘Mulan’ grossed over $300 million worldwide and with the recent success of ‘Alice in Wonderland,’ ‘Maleficent,’ and ‘Cinderella,’ expect ‘Mulan’ to be a box office award winner.
