Han Solo himself shared the acting tips he revealed to the cast of the new Star Wars movie.
According to an interview with Variety, Harrison Ford revealed that he didn’t give any acting coaching sessions with the cast.
“I don’t give advice, I just think everybody’s got to figure out how to do it for themselves,” Ford told Variety at the “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” world premiere in Los Angeles on Monday. “I would if I was asked, but I wasn’t asked.”
However, the cast behind the movie revealed that Harrison Ford did share acting tips to the cast. Greg Grunberg, who plays Snap Wexley, compared Harrison Ford to Bruce Willis in Die Hard. “[He’s] in over his head, yet he can handle it,” Grunberg said. “The way he delivers it, I was just like suddenly I’m a fan watching him as I’m having a scene with him.”
Grunberg also revealed the best piece of acting advice Harrison Ford gave him. “Mike Nichols, who said ‘don’t let them turn you into a thing.’”
