‘Empire’ releases two new songs featuring Pitbull and Ne-Yo.
Empire is releasing a few new songs ahead of the hit series’ season two premiere.
The hip-hop drama released two new songs on the show’s Vevo page Thursday. “No Doubt About It” includes Jussie Smollett (Jamal) and Pitbull, who co-wrote the song with Ne-Yo.
Pitbull is scheduled to appear in one episode on the series, while Ne-Yo was added to the show’s music team earlier this year.
The other tune, “Ain’t About the Money,” features both Smollett and his TV brother Yazz (Hakeem).
Both of the songs will be featured on Empire: Original Soundtrack From Season 2 – Volume 1, which is will be released some time this year. Empire’s first soundtrack, released ahead of the season finale in May, made Billboard’s top 200 for the song’s “Drip Drop” and “You’re So Beautiful.”
The new season of Empire premieres Sept. 23 at 9 p.m. on Fox but, casting directors are constantly looking for background extras, actors, models, and talent to work on the new season. For the latest casting calls click here.
