[Watch] ‘Star Wars’ Daisy Ridley Reveals Jedi Training in New Video

Date:

Daisy Ridley shows off her Jedi skills in a new Star Wars training video.

It’s an amazing time to be a Star Wars fan. Outside of all of the new Star Wars movies coming out, we are now able to get an inside look at all of the behind-the-scenes action thanks to social media. Daisy Ridley (Rey), John Boyega (Finn), and Oscar Isaac  (Poe Dameron) have all released new videos showing their rap skills, gave intimate and personal live interviews and shared amazing acting tips. In the process they are giving fans a unique experience with the cast and crew of the new Star Wars movie. Ultimately, Disney is embracing social media and technology to bring fans closer and hopefully, sell more movie tickets.

Recently, Daisy Ridley released a really cool Instagram video showing her workout routine for the new Star Wars movie. She posted a clip of what is technically her practicing a wushu martial arts routine, though it doesn’t seem like too much of a stretch to assume that it’s part of her lightsaber training. The video is shot by stuntman Liang Yang. Yang also played the Storm Trooper, TR-8R.

Daisy Ridley writes:

So @liangstunts (TRAITOR) is WUSHU FRICKING MASTER and I always try to get him to teach me things… This was today!!! Obvs not great but HE’S amazing and he’s also featured at the end ??? our stunt team are the most incredible group of people, so lucky I get to train with them!

You can check out the video below.
