Taylor Swift bashes Kanye West during Grammys Album of the year speech.
Taylor Swift unsurprisingly picked up the award for Album of the Year at the 2016 Grammys on Monday and she used her moment onstage to send a sharp message to her friend (and enemy) Kanye West.
As you might have heard, last week the rapper stirred up controversy with a graphic lyric about Taylor Swift in his song Famous off his new album, The Life of Pablo. It read: “I think me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous.”
After Taylor Swift fans bashed Kanye for the offensive lyric, the rapper hit back, claiming that Taylor Swift knew about it and even gave him the green light to add it to the album. Then, Taylor Swift’s representative responded to Kanye’s claim, saying the singer “cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.”
This led to Taylor Swift’s Grammys speech. Swift made her thoughts clear on the whole situation:
“As the first woman to win album of the year at the Grammys twice, I want to say to all the young women out there: There are going to be people along the way who will try to undercut your success or take credit for your accomplishments or your fame. But if you just focus on the work and don’t let those people sidetrack you, someday when you get where you’re going, you’ll look around and you’ll know that it was you and the people who love you who put you there. And that will be the greatest feeling in the world.”
She may not have said Kanye West’s name directly, but that’s not Taylor Swift’s style. Everyone knew who she was talking about and Twitter went CRAZY!
So happy Taylor Swift fired shots back to Kanye West. He totally deserved it.

I’m not a huge Taylor swift fan but her speech was outstanding not only for people in general but especially for Kanye who disturbs me.
