Alden Ehrenreich reveals what it was like to audition for Star Wars‘ young Han Solo.
Alden Ehrenreich is going to be the young Han Solo.
But, after auditioning 3,000 actors, casting directors took months to find the perfect actor to replace Harrison Ford.
So what did Ehrenreich have to do to land the role of young Han Solo? Ehrenreich revealed to to fans at London’s Star Wars Celebration event his audition process.
Apparently, it took six months of auditions before he landed the role in the new Star Wars movie.
But, he said the coolest part of his audition was sitting in the cockpit of Solo’s iconic Millennium Falcon starship with Chewbacca.
“I’ve never screen-tested with a Wookiee. It was amazing, Ehrenreich said.
