There are so many similarities between ‘King of the Hill’ and HBO’s True Detective it is almost scary!
Watch this video mash-up between HBO’s True Detective and ‘King of Hill’. Boomhauer was a Texas-born, philosopher long before Rust Cohle was a character on ‘True Detective’. Perhaps, he was the insipiration to Nic Pizzolatto hit series.
