Actors wanted: Casting call for Five Guys hamburgers commercial, Lorton, VA.
Are you an aspiring actor or actress looking for a big break in the entertainment industry? Well, here’s your chance! A casting call has been released for a Five Guys Hamburgers commercial shoot, and they are looking for multiple on-screen talents.
The shoot will take place in Lorton, Virginia, in mid-May, with multiple dates to be confirmed. The usage for this commercial is for one year, and it will be an internet-only video. The shoot is non-union, so they are looking for non-union talent. However, SAG-E is okay.
The rates for this casting call are impressive, with $1,000/day + agency fee for speaking roles and $800/day + agency fee for non-speaking functions. The talent will be on set for five hours, and they are looking to book talent for one day, except for one role, which is still to be determined.
They seek talents for six roles, and comedy/improv experience is a plus. Here are the roles they are looking to fill:
Role 1: Employee (Speaking)
They are looking for a female aged 20s-30s who is Caucasian. She must have a bubbly personality, upbeat and personable. Good comedy/improv skills are also necessary.
Role 2: Employee (Non-Speaking)
They need a male aged 30-35, African American or Hispanic. They prefer someone on the taller/larger side, so the in-the-way gag works better.
Role 3: 1st AC (Non-Speaking)
They are looking for a female of AAPI or Hispanic descent. She should be a no-nonsense crew member just trying to finish her job. Like a good eye-roll, a good-hearted attitude would be great.
Role 4: Employee (Speaking)
For this role, they need a male aged 20s-30s African American. They prefer someone personable and friendly, clean face with no facial hair. Good comedy chops/improv skills with intense facial expressions are a must.
Role 5: Customer 1 (Speaking)
The ideal candidate for this role is a male aged 40s-50s, Caucasian or Hispanic. He should have an everyman look, a dry sense of humor, and a dad body. Facial hair is okay, and good comedy/improv chops are necessary.
Role 6: Customer 2 (Speaking)
Lastly, they need a female aged 20s-early 30s who is African American. She should be just trying to go about her business and excited to get her lunch. A hint of attitude for being held up by the video crew would be ideal.
If you have what it takes to fill any of these roles, this is your chance! Don’t hesitate to apply for this casting call and showcase your acting skills. This could be the start of your successful acting career. Good luck!
