“The Bodyguard” London open casting call in the United Kingdom.

Attention all aspiring actors!

Do you have what it takes to star in the upcoming West End production of ‘The Bodyguard’? If so, you are in luck because London is hosting an open casting call for the lead role of Fletcher!

Fletcher is a 10-year-old boy with an unbroken voice who stands under 4 foot 10in (147 cm). He must be either African-Caribbean or of dual heritage. Furthermore, schedule 9, part 1 of the Equality Act 2010, applies.

The successful applicant must be a strong actor with a clear voice and excellent singing skills. They will also need to possess good energy, be able to take direction, and have some dance ability. Cheekiness and charm are big bonuses!

Auditions will take place on Monday, 17th April 2023, in London. Recalls will occur on Friday, 21st April 2023, followed by six-month contracts beginning 29th May 2023 for tour performances commencing 26th June 2023.

FLETCHER 

• A BOY, to play the role of Fletcher, the son.
• Aged about 10, unbroken voice, under 4 foot 10in (147cm). 
• Black/African Caribbean /dual heritage.
• Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010; (Occupational Requirements) applies
• Strong acting, with a clear voice and an excellent singer.
• He will also need to dance.
• Cheeky and charming, with good energy, and be able to take direction.
