Hamilton open auditions for lead roles in London, United Kingdom.
Casting directors are holding open auditions for the London production of Hamilton that is set to open at the West End’s Victoria Palace in 2017. Rehearsals are set to begin in August 2017, with performers being contracted for a year. Hamilton is looking for “versatile singer/actors who rap (and can move well) or hip-hop dancers (who are versatile in all forms of contemporary dance and can sing well). Men and women in their 20s and 30s of all ethnic backgrounds are being invited to apply, but they may only register for either a vocal or dance audition, not both.” Talents must also have a valid U.K./EU passport or already have a full working visa for the duration of the contract. The audition notice specifically states that the producers will not be auditioning for the role of King George at these calls. Auditions are to be held in London during the week starting November 7. To register an appointment, CVs and photos should be sent to [email protected]. What do you think? Discuss this story with fellow Project Casting fans on Facebook.
