CMT is now casting background extras for Million Dollar Quartet in Memphis, Tennessee.
CMT’s new TV series Million Dollar Quartet is looking for background extras to work on a scene filming this Thursday, May 12th in Memphis, Tennessee. Casting directors are looking for extras to play upscale diners, restaurant staff, hookers, and honkey tonk waitresses.
About Million Dollar Quartet:
CMT is adapting the Tony Award winning musical based on the recording sessions made by Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins and Jerry Lee Lewis and turning it into an eight-episode drama. It’s set to premiere later on this year.
The series will focus on the rapid rise to fame of musicians during a time of political change and social unrest.

We do not have Call Times so you would need to be fully 100% available on work dates. You MUST have open/flexible availability if submitting so that you can work WHATEVER the call times & wrap times end up being. If not, please DO NOT SUBMIT!
Pay rate for EXTRAS is $64.00 for 8 hours ($8.00/hour with a 8 hour guarantee). Overtime will be paid after 8 hours. You will receive a check in the mail usually 10-14 business days AFTER you work.
–We will not be providing mileage/gas reimbursement or accommodations to anyone working as background talent on this project. You are responsible for your own transportation and local accommodation.–

Professional, upscale, restaurant experience preferred but not required- please specify your experience in your email. Looking for a Captain, Maitre ‘D and Waiter. Short hair or willing to let us give you a 1950s period- style hair cut. NO visible tattoos or piercings!
HOOKERS: female, Caucasian, age range 18-25. Must be comfortable being physically flirtatious- playing this character type. Thin and attractive. LADIES – Natural colored hair ONLY and short to shoulder length hair or willing to let us give you a 1950s period style hair cut. NO weaves! HONKY TONK WAITRESS: female, Caucasian, age range 20-35. restaurant experience preferred but not required- please specify your experience in your email.
