Job Overview: We are seeking talented jazz musicians for a filming project set in Westchester, NY. This is an exciting opportunity for musicians who specialize in playing the saxophone, keyboard, drum kit, or stand-up bass. Musicians will perform in a jazz combo setup during interior scenes.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform live during various film scenes as part of a jazz ensemble.
- Collaborate with other musicians and the production team to create the desired musical atmosphere.
- Be prepared to follow the director’s guidance and adapt performance as required.
Requirements:
- Proven experience playing one or more of the following instruments: stand-up bass, drum kit, keyboard, or saxophone.
- Ability to read sheet music and improvise.
- Professional demeanor and reliability.
- Membership in SAG/AFTRA preferred but not required.
- Must be available on Wednesday, June 5, and Friday, June 7.
Compensation:
- $218 for an 8-hour workday under the SAG/AFTRA special ability rate.
- Additional $50 instrument bump.
- Overtime compensation for any work over 8 hours.
