Looking to cast for a short film, drama, love story about a lady (Miriam) who finds a 50 years old Dear John letter and reunites the elderly couple.
(15-20 minute short) Non-union.
Were shooting the short film early January 2014. All roles listed below are open. Must be available to film early January so please have that in mind. The Director is a filmmaker from from Los Angeles, CA. The roles as are followed.
CAST
-Miriam (Lead) – Female – early 30’s – Hispanic or Any ethnicity
Miriam has recently lost her faith in Love because of unfaithful ex-boyfriend until she finds a old letter and reunite the writer/ Angela & the recipient, Cliff.
She a writer for a magazine/ newspaper. Smart, Mature, Selfless, but going through a rough patch
-Angela Marquez – Female – Late 60’s/ early 70’s – Hispanic or Black
Angela is the sweet older woman who wrote the letter 50 years ago and reunited with her long lost love, Heathcliff.
-Heathcliff Moore – Male – Late 60’s/ early 70’s – Black or Hispanic
Cliff is the positive older man who the letter is written it and reunited with his long lost love, Angela.
-Barbara – Female – late 20’s/early30’s – Any ethnicity
Barbara is Miriam’s funny and supporting gay BFF. She is funny, smart, fast talking, butch & fashionable.
-Michael – Male – early 30’s – Hispanic or Any ethnicity
Michael is the handsome security guard at a senior living community and a potential love interest of Miriam.
-Child – Either Gender – 4-8yrs old – Any ethnicity
A spoiled rotten child loosing his/her temper and gets threaten & scared straight by Barbara.
Although we unfortunately do not have the budget to pay anyone for this shoot we are offering Copy, IMDb Credit, Meals, & a Great time!
