Casting Call for “ROOFMAN” Starring Channing Tatum and Kirsten Dunst – Charlotte, NC
Job Description:
The upcoming feature film “ROOFMAN” is set to film in Charlotte, NC, and is looking for background actors and extras to portray a variety of roles in scenes filmed across the Charlotte and surrounding areas. The film is seeking people of all ages and backgrounds to help bring the story to life. Special requests include individuals who can portray prisoners, birthday party kids, McDonald’s workers, store shoppers, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform as background extras in various scenes, following directions from the casting and production teams.
- Portray roles such as prisoners, birthday party attendees, store shoppers, churchgoers, and other community roles.
- Participate in scenes that may require specific wardrobe and props based on the role.
- Collaborate with the production team and other extras to ensure the smooth execution of scenes.
Special Requests:
- Sets of identical twin boys (ages 6 months to 2 years).
- Former or current McDonald’s workers to portray restaurant employees.
- Former or current police officers, bailiffs, correctional officers, and paramedics/EMTs to portray security personnel.
- Period vehicles from the 1980s to early 2000s in good condition for use in certain scenes.
- Hundreds of extras are needed for various roles.
Requirements:
- All background actors should be comfortable working long hours and maintaining professionalism on set.
- Special role requirements include:
- Twin boys (6 months to 2 years old).
- Authentic experience in law enforcement or emergency services (for security roles).
- Period-appropriate vehicles (1980s to early 2000s).
Compensation:
All background actors will be paid. Compensation details, including rates, will be shared with selected applicants upon booking. Additional pay will be provided for individuals whose vehicles are used during filming.
