NYC Casting: HBO’s ‘The Deuce’ Season 2 Casting Call for a Gay Bar Scene

HBO’s The Deuce Season 2 is now casting extras for a gay bar scene in New York City.

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Friday, June 29th in New York City.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • GWC is seeking SAGAFTRA & NON-UNION Men to portray 1970s artsy/wealthy gay men for an upscale gay bar/lounge scene on HBO’s THE DEUCE! 
  • Seeking interesting intellectual/artsy 1970s faces!
    Also seeking men with dance experience for partner/couple dancing.

About The Deuce:

The Deuce James Franco Casting

“The Deuce” centers around the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early ’70s through the mid ’80s. The TV series will explore the rough world that existed there until the rise of HIV, violence and crack -cocaine.Vincent Martino and Frankie Martino, who were players in the Times Square world and became fronts for mob control of the volatile and lucrative sex industry. James Franco will play both twins in the new HBO series.

GWC is seeking SAGAFTRA & NON-UNION Men to portray 1970s artsy/wealthy gay men for an upscale gay bar/lounge scene on HBO’s THE DEUCE!

Seeking interesting intellectual/artsy 1970s faces!
Also seeking men with dance experience for partner/couple dancing.

Fitting Wednesday 6/27 or Thursday 6/28 in Queens.
Works Friday 6/29 in Manhattan. (must have full day/night availability)

Please note the following:
-NO visible tattoos
-Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke
-Must have 1970s appropriate hair (2+ inches in length all around, no fades, edging, buzzcuts, shaved heads, shaved sides, braids, dreads, etc)
-Must be over 18 years old
-Should be local to NYC tri-state area
