Job Description: We are currently seeking a talented and experienced organist or piano player for a special event this coming Thursday in Decatur, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music, specifically with expertise in playing the organ or piano. This role requires the ability to perform various musical styles to suit the atmosphere of the event, engaging with the audience through musical expression.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform live music on the organ or piano during the event.
- Prepare and execute a setlist that complements the event's theme and audience.
- Coordinate with the event organizers to ensure seamless integration of the musical performances.
- Adjust musical selections dynamically based on the event's flow and audience response.
- Handle and oversee the setup and tuning of the instrument before the event.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an organist or piano player in live performances or events.
- Proficient in playing different styles of music and adaptable to audience preferences.
- Excellent live performance skills with a focus on engaging audiences.
- Reliable and professional demeanor with punctuality for rehearsals and performance.
- Must be available on the specified date and able to transport self to the venue in Decatur, GA.
- Preference will be given to candidates with their own instruments, although this is not a requirement.
