Netflix’s ‘Sweet Magnolias’ Casting Call for a Christmas Play Scene

Description: We are seeking a small group of extras to participate in a film production as attendees of a Christmas play. We are looking for individuals who can portray parents and family members, enhancing the authenticity and atmosphere of the scene.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend the Christmas play within the scene and engage as a typical audience member.
• Follow directions from the director and crew to ensure scene effectiveness.
• Interact naturally with other extras as if in a real-life setting of a play.
• Be prepared for multiple takes and potentially long shooting periods.

Requirements:

• Ages 20 to 50, open to all genders and ethnicities.
• Ability to convey a range of emotions appropriate for a Christmas play setting.
• Must have reliable transportation to Social Circle, GA.
• Must be available for the entirety of the shoot on May 22.
• Previous acting experience is a plus but not required.
• Must adhere to wardrobe guidelines which will be provided (holiday attire is likely required).

Compensation:

• This is a paid opportunity. Compensation will be $100 for up to 8 hours of shooting. Overtime will be compensated accordingly.
• Meals and refreshments will be provided on set.
