Olivia, played by a white woman or girl aged 17 to 23 (played to 17), has an EMO/Goth thing going on and pours herself into her art to cope with losing loved ones. Hawa, played by an African, South Asian, or Black woman or girl aged 16 to 23 (played to 16), is a recent refugee who takes school seriously but struggles with language barriers and cultural adjustments.
