Casting Call: SAG/AFTRA Actors to Portray Patrons with Cars for “Margate Memories”
About the Project:
“Margate Memories” is a feature film capturing the essence of life in South Jersey. We are seeking SAG/AFTRA members to join our cast as patrons at a bakery, with scenes featuring both interiors and exteriors during the spring season. This is a low-budget film signatory with the SAG/AFTRA Philadelphia Local branch.
Roles Available:
Patrons with Cars
- Description: Seeking male and female SAG/AFTRA actors of any ethnicity and various character types. Actors must be 18 years or older.
- Responsibilities:
- Portray bakery patrons in both interior and exterior scenes.
- Drive and park their own cars as part of the scene setting.
- Follow the director’s instructions to ensure realistic and engaging performances.
- Collaborate with the production team to achieve the desired look and feel of the scenes.
Requirements:
- Must be a current SAG/AFTRA member.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a car that can be used in the filming.
- Availability for the entire day of shooting on June 4, 2024.
Compensation Details:
- Filming Rate: $168 for a 12-hour day.
- Additional details regarding compensation will be provided upon application and selection.
