Casting Call: Vintage Cars for Major Film Production
Project Description:
Join the exciting world of film by contributing to the authenticity and aesthetic of an Untitled Pharrell Williams Movie Musical! Produced by Universal Studios, this production seeks to capture the vibrant essence of the mid-20th century. We are currently in search of extras who own vintage vehicles from the 1950s to the 1970s. Whether your vehicle is a showroom gem or a well-loved beater, as long as it runs, it could be perfect for our film.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide a vintage car, ranging from the 1950s to the 1970s, for use in film scenes.
- Be available on-set for the duration of scenes requiring your vehicle.
- Assist with basic positioning and movement of the vehicle as directed by film crew.
- Potentially participate as an extra in scenes involving your vehicle.
Requirements:
- Ownership of a vintage car from the 1950s, 1960s, or 1970s that is operational.
- Car should be aesthetically fitting for the time period, but does not need to be in mint condition.
- Ability to transport the vehicle to and from the set in Richmond, VA.
- Flexibility with scheduling and availability for shoot dates.
- Previous film set experience is a plus but not necessary.
Compensation Details:
- Daily rate: $208
- Vehicle bump: $200 per day
- Total compensation: $408 per day guaranteed
