Casting directors for “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” are currently casting background actors.
“It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia” will be filming for their 9th season and hilarity will continue to ensue. FX points out that the 9th season the gang
goes to therapy, hunts for Nazi treasure, and tries to undermine Philly’s toughest union – the trashmen!
The Huffington Post recently reported on the series. “It’s Always Sunny” was given the greenlight for a tenth season and will help FX launch its new network, FXX, this fall. The new network, which is targeted toward a younger audience have a slightly more comedic focus will launch on September 2.”
FX President president John Landgraf pointed out to reporters at the Television Critics Association press tour panel yesterday that he envisioned ‘Always Sunny’ lasting through at least a tenth season, depending. “There is a high likelihood for a 10th season,” Landgraf said. “Whether it goes beyond that depends on whether the people who created the show want to go and whether the audience still wants to watch. But there will definitely be one more year, probably two.”
