Tyler Perry Studios Announces New Film A Love From Courtney Glaude
Tyler Perry Studios is expanding its creative horizons with a new overall deal with filmmaker Courtney Glaude, the director, writer, and producer best known for The Reading. As part of this exciting partnership, Glaude will serve as Executive Creator of Scripted and Unscripted, developing and producing original content across television and film for the studio.
Under this new deal, Glaude’s first project is the upcoming feature film A Love — a psychological thriller that delves deep into the reality of domestic violence and the lasting impact of learned behaviors from childhood. Production for A Love is expected to begin next year.

Courtney Glaude has earned a reputation for exploring deep emotional and societal themes through his work. He rose to prominence with The Reading, a critically acclaimed film executive produced by Lee Daniels and starring Mo’Nique, which premiered on BET+.
Glaude also created the award-winning short films Row and Tag, both praised for their emotional depth and originality.
Most recently, Glaude made his television directorial debut with Zatima (Season 3) and Ruthless (Season 6) at Tyler Perry Studios, and contributed as a writer to upcoming seasons of both series.
