WGN’s Underground is now casting townspeople for a scene filming this Monday through Wednesday in Savannah, Georgia. Casting directors are casting the following roles:
- *40 Townspeople (can be repeats. 80% Caucasian/ 20% African American)
- *1 African American Couple (NEW FACES, 1M/1F)
- *1 Caucasian Couple (NEW FACES 1M/1F)
- *1 Caucasian Woman (NEW FACE)
- *1 Georgia Lawyer (NEW FACE, Caucasian Male)

UNDERGROUND, SEASON TWO – For next week, Mon – Wednesday, we have LOTS to film. Here are our background actor needs:
MONDAY –
*40 Townspeople (can be repeats. 80% Caucasian/ 20% African American)
*1 African American Couple (NEW FACES, 1M/1F)
*1 Caucasian Couple (NEW FACES 1M/1F)
*1 Caucasian Woman (NEW FACE)
*1 Georgia Lawyer (NEW FACE, Caucasian Male)
*Kentucky Ruffians, Runaways, and Patty Cannon Gang will be needed this day also… you’ve been cast previously and we’ll be reaching out to you again shorty. Thanks.
TUESDAY –
*200 Churchgoers (Can be repeats. 175 Caucasian & 25 African)
WEDNESDAY –
*6 Half Toweled Men (awaiting details)
*4 Patty Cannon Gang (previously cast, stay tuned to emails)
We’ll stop filming Thurs/Fri/Sat/Sun for Thanksgiving break, and will resume on Monday Nov 28th. If you fit the above descriptions and are available that day, please let us know asap. Some of you (especially new faces) will need fittings today/tomorrow; others have already been fit and we may have your costume saved. Please follow these instructions to apply for next week’s work:
Pay rate: $68/8 (plus a $25.00 bump for your fitting).
Background actors need to be local to Savannah GA, or can work as a local (meaning you have local friends/family that you can stay with) as production will not pay for travel.
