Ron Howard‘s ‘Hillbilly Elegy‘ is now casting extras in Atlanta, Georgia.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Wednesday, July 17th in Macon, Georgia.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- We need MEN and WOMEN to be LOCAL TOWN TYPES and also HOMELESS and/or “Down and Out” types/looks and other local types (this is meant to be a bad time in a town that is going thru harder times, bad economy, etc..
About ‘Hillbilly Elegy’:
Hillbilly Elegy is an upcoming film directed by Ron Howard and based on the memoir of the same name by J. D. Vance.
From Vogue: “Hillbilly Elegy is J.D. Vance’s story of his life growing up dirt poor in rural Appalachia, which became a bestseller thanks to its raw and unflinching yet compassionate portrayal of a poverty-stricken community in which addiction, violence and family disintegration were commonplace. The odds were stacked against him, but after graduating from his public high school, Vance enlisted in the Marines, then later graduated from Ohio State University, and finally Yale Law School. We need people with cars from 1980 to 1998 for one scene and people with cars from 2000 to 2012 for another.
Pay rate is $80 (start times will be approx 6:30am
Add’l Car bumps (add’l pay for us using your car):

$25 for 2000 to 2012 Cars
