New Mortal Kombat is now casting background actors in Australia.
Heesom Casting is opening their doors to all Adelaide, Australia residents who want to appear in the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie as a background extra. Casting directors are casting hundreds of roles.

Open Casting Call Breakdown
Date: Saturday 17th August 2019
Time: 9am – 2pm
Location:

What to bring:
- Pen (for paperwork)
- Water bottle and snacks
- Umbrella and layers
Know your wardrobe sizes:
- Height
- Shirt size
- Shoe size
- Jeans size
Extra roles available:
- Hundreds of roles for people aged between 18 – 50
- Need people of all shapes and sizes, ethnicities and backgrounds and people who stand out from the crowd
- If you have something that makes you distinct, extreme or unique casting directors want to meet with you.
- To represent the range character in Mortal Kombat there are specialty roles available:
- Japanese men, women and children (aged 5+)
- Athletic women of Chinese descent
- Martial artists of Asian descent
- Diehard Footy, Boxing, Wrestling and MMA fans
- Professional bodybuilders, MMA fighters and wrestlers
- People with body art, piercings, crazy hairstyles etc.
- People of African, Hispanic, Latino descent
- Indigenous American and Korean descent
- 9 to 12-year-old girls of Chinese descent
- Indigenous Australians
Can’t make it to the open casting call? Here’s how to apply:
If you missed out on our first Extras intake, the ones to which Heesom Casting refer (attached), then please submit your photo ASAP to: [email protected]
Use the subject heading “Extras Work Adelaide – (Your Name)”. In the email, please include:
– Full name
– Age
– Height
– Ethnicity
– Suburb of residence
– Plus include whether or not you’ve had any acting experience in the past
When sending a photo, it must not exceed 1 MB each (you can compress photos online using various websites – just make sure it’s free). Include a head and shoulders shot, looking straight down the barrel of the camera with a smile (we want to see your personality!). Plus a full length photo. Taken on a phone is fine, just make sure you’re somewhere with good lighting and do not send photos wearing hats or sunglasses as we need to be able to see you clearly.
Any age, any nationality, no experience necessary but you’ll need to have a good attitude, are confident and outgoing.
**Note: You must be a South Australian resident and we can only accept submissions if you’re not represented by another agency.*

Midway released the video game in 1992 with a game centering on the monk Liu Kang fighting to save the planet from an evil magician.
