Casting Call: Medical Commercial Shoot in NYC
Job Overview: We are casting for a medical commercial set to shoot in New York City. This commercial is looking to feature dynamic individuals in both speaking and non-speaking roles. Auditions and callbacks will be held this coming Friday through Sunday. For talents located in NYC, auditions will be in-person; talents outside of NYC can audition remotely via Zoom. This project includes fittings in NYC on June 4-5, with the shoot scheduled for one day between June 6-9. Local talents or those who can self-report are encouraged to apply, as no travel expenses will be compensated.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in scheduled auditions and callbacks.
- Attend fittings and shoot dates as required.
- Perform role according to director's specifications, which may include speaking parts or choreographed activities.
Requirements:
- Must be based in NYC or able to self-report to NYC for the shoot and fittings (no travel compensation).
- Open roles:
- AA Kid:Â Ages 8-14, African American, with a strong ability to dance.
- AAA Man:Â Ages 45-55, coach, mentor, or counselor type, ideal for a seasoned actor portraying leadership and wisdom.
- Real-life father/son duos are encouraged to apply, especially for matching the described roles.
- Must be available for the entirety of the shoot and fitting dates.
Compensation:
- OCP (On-Camera Principal) Session:Â $750
- OCP Dance Rehearsals:Â $500
- Hero OCP Usage/Buyout:Â $6,000
- Featured OCP Usage/Buyout:Â $4,000
