Casting Call: Figure Skaters and Moms for Non-Union Commercial

Job Description: We are urgently seeking young female figure skaters, aged 8-14, with average to above-average skills (no need to be professional) for a non-union commercial. We also need their moms to participate (moms do not need to skate). The commercial will be filmed in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) on July 3rd and 4th, 2024. Each selected talent will only be needed for one day of filming.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Young female figure skaters: Perform basic to intermediate figure skating routines on set.
  • Moms: Participate in the commercial, supporting their daughters (no skating required).
  • Follow directions from the director and team during the shoot.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude on set.

Requirements:

  • Female figure skaters, aged 8-14, with average to above-average skills.
  • Moms of the skaters (can apply separately or together with their daughters).
  • Must be able to speak one of the following languages (one role for each language): Cantonese, Mandarin, Farsi, Arabic, Hinglish (Hindi/English), Taglish (Tagalog/English).
  • Must be of the ethnic descent that matches the language spoken.
  • Must be available for filming on either July 3rd or 4th, 2024, in the GTA.
  • Mom and daughter do not need to be real mom and daughter; they can apply separately.

Details:

  • Pay rate: $1000 per person.
