Producers are looking for the following talent: 

  • multiple voiceover roles for “Muffy,” an animated series aimed at bringing humor and heart to audiences through its diverse cast of fairy friends.

Job Description:

Spin Master is casting multiple voiceover roles for “Muffy,” an animated series aimed at bringing humor and heart to audiences through its diverse cast of fairy friends. The series follows the “Sparkles” as they rejuvenate the town of Glowville with their entrepreneurial ventures and quirky personalities. Each character plays a key role in driving the story, and we are looking for voices that bring out their unique traits and energy.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide voiceover recordings for assigned character(s) based on provided scripts.
  • Deliver high-quality audio for use in animated series distributed via YouTube Shorts and social platforms.
  • Perform multiple takes in both natural and character-specific accents (if applicable).
  • Collaborate with the production team to refine character voices as needed.

Character Roles:

1. Boppi Beatdrop (Recurring Actor or Principal)

  • Sound: 14–16-year-old Afro-Latino, dramatic and ambitious.
  • Traits: Main character energy, popstar flair, competitive.
  • Bonus: Singing skills a plus.
  • Rate: $100/hour (Principal), $50/hour (Actor).

2. Glossi Glowup (Recurring Actor or Principal)

  • Sound: 14–16-year-old Latino, confident and witty.
  • Traits: Cheerful but moody, cosplay enthusiast, stylish.
  • Bonus: Fluent in speaking and signing.
  • Rate: $100/hour (Principal), $50/hour (Actor).

3. Dotti Glitterbow (Recurring Actor or Principal)

  • Sound: 14–16-year-old Jamaican, joyful and sincere.
  • Traits: Kid sister vibes, party planner extraordinaire.
  • Rate: $100/hour (Principal), $50/hour (Actor).

Requirements:

  • Talent must reside in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada and pay Ontario taxes.
  • Sound like a youthful teenager aged 14–16.
  • Open to a variety of accents; creativity encouraged.
  • Ability to self-record high-quality audio files.

Compensation:

  • Principal Role: $100 per hour (minimum 1 hour, max 4 hours).
  • Actor Role: $50 per hour (minimum 1 hour, max 4 hours).
