All applicants must be local to Los Angeles, CA, as callbacks and fittings will be held in person. However, production will provide lodging for the duration of the shoot.
If selected, participants can look forward to a rewarding compensation package. The pay for 2-3 days of work ranges from $4,700 to $6,200. This includes a daily rate of $1,500 for shoot days (10 hours) and $500 per travel day between Los Angeles and Mammoth, CA, with production covering lodging expenses. Additionally, an exclusivity clause offers $500 in exchange for not working with other outdoor active brands/retail for 3 months. A reasonable fee of $200 is also provided.
The casting call mentions the potential for extended usage terms, where participants may receive additional pay of 110% based on the actual rates. However, the decision to extend the usage terms rests solely with the client and is not guaranteed. If selected, successful candidates will sign a contract that includes this contingency.
In terms of usage, the pay includes compensation for the hours worked and the advertiser’s use of your image. The North Face and Dick’s Sporting Goods plan to utilize the images for paid and organic digital/social media and in-store promotions within the USA for 6 months. Furthermore, archival rights will be granted in perpetuity. Participants are requested to maintain exclusivity for 3 months of athletic/sports performance wear, including popular brands such as Patagonia, Columbia, REI, Helly Hansen, Nike, Adidas, Canada Goose, Marmot, Carhartt, and others unless explicit written consent is given.

- We need hikers for a photo shoot for The North Face. We’re looking for:
- Hikers | people 18+ who enjoy hiking and are comfortable hiking in the snow. We’re especially interested in non-binary and BIPOC talent.
- Professional acting/modeling experience is optional to apply. You should feel comfortable on camera and be good at taking directions.

TYPE: Stills + Video
UNION STATUS: Non-Union
SHOOT LOCATION: Mammoth, CA (Talent must be local to LA)
CALLBACKS: Wed 6/28 or Thurs 6/29 (mandatory to attend in person)
FITTING: Thu 6/6 or Fri 6/7 (if requested)
SHOOT Tue 7/11 – Sun 6/16 (2-3 shoot days and 2 travel days within this range).
PAY IF HIRED: $4700-$6200 total for 2-3 days of work, which includes:
Shoot Days: $1500/day (10hrs) for 2-3 days
Travel: $500/day for 2 travel days between Los Angeles and Mammoth, CA. Production will cover lodging.
Exclusivity: $500 to agree not to work for other outdoor active brands/retail for 3 months
