Job Description:
We are urgently casting for the role of Winnie in an upcoming horror feature film directed by Jae Matthews. This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a creative and dynamic team working to bring a thrilling new story to life. The film promises to engage audiences with its intense narrative and rich character development, crafted under the direction of Jae Matthews, known for his work with the band Boy Harsher.
Responsibilities:
- Portray the character Winnie with depth, reflecting her chaotic, bold, and confident personality, which masks her deeper insecurities.
- Work collaboratively with the director and other cast members to develop a cohesive and compelling portrayal.
- Be available and fully prepared for all scheduled shooting days.
- Participate in costume fittings, rehearsals, and promotional activities as required by the production team.
Requirements:
- Actress should identify as African American/Black.
- Ideal age range: 25 years old (flexible if able to portray this age).
- Must have strong acting skills and the ability to convey complex emotions and character development.
- Previous acting experience in film, television, or theater is preferred.
- Must be local to Lockport, IL, or willing to travel and accommodate local stays during shooting dates (travel expenses are not covered).
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible schedule to accommodate potential changes in shooting days.
Compensation:
- The role of Winnie is a paid position, with compensation set at $150 per day.
- Payment will be issued at the completion of shooting or as per the production company’s standard payroll schedule.
