Casting Call: Salsa Dancing Seniors
Job Description: We are currently seeking experienced salsa dancers aged 60 and above for an exciting role in an upcoming film project. Candidates should be enthusiastic about performing and able to portray energetic seniors enjoying a salsa dance scene. This is a fantastic opportunity for senior dancers to showcase their talents on a larger scale while working on a professional film set.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform salsa dancing sequences as directed.
- Participate in costume fittings and adhere to wardrobe requirements.
- Work collaboratively with other cast members and the film crew.
- Be available on set for the entirety of the scheduled filming dates.
- Follow directions from the choreographer and director to ensure dance scenes are performed accurately and effectively.
Requirements:
- Must be 60 years old or older.
- Must have prior experience in salsa dancing.
- Ability to take direction well and perform repetitive dance moves for multiple takes.
- Must be willing and able to work as a local hire in Wilmington, NC.
- Availability for the entirety of the filming dates and fitting.
- High level of physical fitness and stamina suitable for performing dance sequences.
Compensation:
- $250 for 12 hours of work per day.
- Overtime pay at time and a half for any hours worked beyond the initial 12 hours per day.
