Casting Call: Background Actors with Upscale/Luxury Cars for “Royalty” TV Series
Job Description:
We are currently seeking union background actors with upscale or luxury vehicles to participate in the filming of the popular television series “Royalty.” This opportunity involves portraying pedestrians or drivers in various exterior scenes set during the summer season. Selected participants will be working on location in Brooklyn, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive on set at the designated call time with your vehicle in clean and working condition.
- Follow directions from the director and crew to position yourself and your vehicle as required for various scenes.
- Maintain professionalism on set, adhering to all set rules and protocols.
- Be prepared for potential weather conditions as scenes are exterior.
- Participate in possible waiting periods or setup changes as directed by production staff.
Requirements:
- Must be a current member of an actors’ union.
- Own an upscale or luxury car that is in excellent aesthetic condition and mechanically sound.
- Must be available for the entire shooting day, with potential early call times.
- Ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with production staff and other actors.
- Comfortable with outdoor settings and potential weather variations.
Compensation:
- Base rate of $208 for an 8-hour day.
- Additional $37.50 car bump for the use of your vehicle in the scenes.
- Overtime pay will be provided as per union rules if filming exceeds 8 hours.
