HBO is now casting basketball players for a new TV series.
Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on scenes filming in Los Angeles, California starting this April to early summer 2021. Details for the show have not been released. However, according to a Hollywood Reporter article, HBO is working on a Lakers drama series. The currently untitled 1980s set basketball series will be written and executive produced by Max Borenstein alongside Adam McKay and Kevin Messick(Succession). The series will star John C. Reilly and Jason Clarke.
Producers are seeking the following types:
- Basketball players – Looking for men who are great basketball players to help us make this look as realistic as possible. Guys should be tall, lean with great basketball skills. You will actually be playing as part of a team.
