Chris Evans Open to Return as Marvel’s Captain America

The departure of Captain America in Avengers: Endgame has left fans wondering if Chris Evans will be reprising his role as Steve Rogers.

The fate of Captain America after Avengers: Endgame is still a mystery. It was revealed that an older version of him returned all six Infinity Stones, but details on what happened in this scene were never shown to us.

We will have to wait and see whether or not Chris Evans returns for more Marvel movies, but it sounds like he’s open to the idea of returning based on his response in an interview with ComicBook. “I don’t want to disappoint anybody but it’s tough to… It was such a good run and I’m so happy with it,” Evans said. “It’s so precious to me. It would have to be perfect. It just would be scary to rattle something that is, again, so, so dear to me. That role means so much to me. So, to revisit it, it would be a tall order.”

Meanwhile, Marvel fans are in for a treat with the fourth Captain America film, which stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson. This movie follows his storyline after he receives Steve Rogers’s shield at the end credits of Avengers: Endgame.
