Marvel Co-Stars Scarlett Johansson & Chris Evans to reunite and star in ‘Project Artemis’
Deadline exclusively reports that the talented team behind Ozark is set to make your jaw drop with their latest project. Director and executive producer Jason Bateman will be joining Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) in an all-star cast that also includes Chris Evans (Captain America); these Hollywood stars have been lined up for what looks like it’s going to take them into some pretty gritty territory.
While other studios were vying for this deal, Apple swooped in with a $100M+ offer. The creative agency CAA cut the contract on behalf of producers after an intense bidding war broke out between several Hollywood heavyweights who wanted control over which films would be seen by audiences around the world – so they can keep them coming back again and again!
The project is set during the height of NASA’s exploration into space which makes for an interesting backdrop. It has been reported that Rose Gilroy, daughter to writer-director Dan Gilroy and actress René Russo will be scripting this next movie.
Johansson is a two-time Oscar nominee who has won the Best Supporting Actress award for her role in “Black Swan” and best actress honors at Cannes Film Festival. She’ll produce with Jonathan Lia through their ‘These Pictures’ production company, which commissioned and developed this script before she joined forces with Bateman to bring it into reality as well.
The fans eagerly await any new information about this highly-anticipated film.
