TikTok mini-games are sometimes discovered by creators when uploading a video to the site. The ability to attach a video to a mini-game is listed next to the hashtag, tagging a place, and writing a video description on the same screen where users may link their videos.
“We’re always looking at ways to enrich our platform and regularly test new features and integrations that bring value to our community,” a TikTok spokesperson told TechCrunch.
“Currently, we’re exploring bringing HTML5 games to TikTok through integrations with third-party game developers and studios.”
If a creator uploads material with a link to one of TikTok’s games, the link will be displayed as a floating anchor over their username.
Basketball FRVR, Space Destroyer, and Mr. Aim Lab’s Nightmare are among the game applications.
